Since the foundation in 1906, Chisso Corporation has been making efforts based on these corporate policies. After the world's first industrialization of ammonium sulfate, we have successively initiated the commercialization of nitric acid and acetic acid syntheses as well as polyvinyl chloride. At present, we contribute to the society by developing original products, such as liquid crystal materials developed with state-of-the-art electronics techniques, and ES fibers that enable further comfortable daily life. Chisso has been playing a leading role in Japanese chemical industry for nearly one century. We will open the door to a new era of chemical industry as the leading manufacturer.
